What is the Big City Informer News Network
The Big City Informer News Network is a service owned and operated by Netventure24 LLC. We provide local city news for the biggest cities in the world. So far the news came from the few big agencies and some executive manager in his office tower somewhere (who secretly hates the Internet) decided what we get to know and what not. And then we all have to believe and follow that news. Do we really? Not anymore! On the Big City Informer News Network all the news come from the people who live and work in the big cities, and they should know best what happens there and what the latest breaking news are. Every city-page works with many different authors from this city who regularly publish their news and everybody can comment on those news. That way we are faster and more on the spot then the old news networks. And our authors can get a share of the ad-revenue of their articles.
What is the criteria to be approved as Informer?
Basically nearly everyone can become an Informer. You have to be at least 18 years old, live in one of the covered cities (or at least in the metro area of one of those cities or the same country). You should know how to use the Internet, preferably have your own website and already be used to blogging or publishing news online. And you need to apply as Big City Informer of course 
How much does it cost to join? Are there any monthly fees?
The Big City Informer News Network is free to join and there are no monthly fees.
What kind of local news do you cover?
The Big City Informer News Network covers news about your city which can be from the following categories: Business, Entertainment, Health, Politics, Society, Sports, Tech, Travel and Photos/Videos. Whatever happens in or around your city or metro area, you can cover it with a news. If you are not sure if a story fits in, you can always ask us. All the news is in English language.
What is a good article?
A good and well written article has the following features:
- 200 – 500 words long, Written in proper English, Has an attention grabbing headline, Spell-check was done, Split up into several paragraphs, No copy of any other news that is already published online, No links inside, A well formatted picture is always good, Request opinions of your readers at the end of the article
How often can I publish?
You can publish as many news as you like, there are no limits.
Where will my news be published?
Your full article will appear on the Informer page you are writing for. It will also be spread through the Big City Informer main page, via our Facebook page, on Twitter and some other social media platforms.
Can I share my article somewhere else?
All the news you publish on our network should be unique. It is best if you did not publish the same article somewhere else already since this wont bring you many readers. Of course you can share the link to your news on all your social networks or anywhere else. There are even easy to use buttons in your published article for that. More Info on that also on the “Informers only” page with special advice for approved Big City Informers.
Can I leave a comment on other articles as well?
Of course you can, and it is highly recommended that you leave comments on all the other articles, even from other cities. Interesting comments will make people want to read your articles. And the Informer who got a comment from you on his news might just comment on your articles as well. Don’t forget to reply to the comments on your articles to keep the conversation going.
What is forbidden on the Network?
You are only allowed to publish your own news, no copies from other websites. Links inside the news are not allowed (only upon request) and would also not help your earnings. Our network covers news, no self promotion or any sort of advertising of your own events or products and services or overly promotional articles. Also useless articles with no real content are not allowed on our network and will get you banned. And don’t forget, you are solely responsible for the content in your news, including text, data, images and video. Refer to the terms and conditions for more info.
Can you tell me the basic steps of publishing?
Ok, first you Apply as Informer, once approved you will receive your log in details for the Informer Admin page and a guide for your first steps, then you should update your profile (your bio, a link to your personal blog, some details about you if you like), If you have a Google AdSense account, you should now setup the revenue sharing, go to the Informer Admin page – Posts – Add New, Write the headline and the article itself, upload pictures, do a spell check, add tags to your news, choose a category for your article, click on the preview button to check if everything is perfect, click on the magic “publish” button and the magic will happen

Are there any other rules or guidelines for the news I publish?

How can I earn if I am approved as a new author?
This is the fun part. The Revenue Sharing Program should not be the main reason that you write on our network, but it helps cover some of the expenses you might have. You will earn through your own Google AdSense account. All news published by you will have your own AdSense code in it. And the best news is – your Google AdSense revenue share will be a high 80% from all your articles.
How much can I earn?
The amount you will earn depends on the quality of your news and if it attracts many readers. The potential is unlimited since your revenue sharing code will stay in the article forever. So you will create a recurring income for yourself. Different topics will also attract different advertisements on your published news, and different “per-click” rates for those. How will I get paid?
You get paid directly via your own Google AdSense account, which means it is unrelated to us and secure. There is no other payment option.
I wrote one article but there are no millions in my Google AdSense account yet. Why?
The most important thing to remember is that only regular publishing will bring you enough traffic. One or two news, maybe written and published all within 10 minutes, will obviously not bring you the success you are looking for. You need to write good content regularly that attracts enough readers first, then the revenue will follow. Don’t give up after the first few articles. Keep them coming and you will see …
